Final Update
After much confusion and mis-information, the phone has been repaired (not replaced as promised) and is being sent back today.
In summary I'll say that Wirefly font end service (ordering, shipping, price) was fantastic. So if you are considering Wirefly and you cross fingers that everything just goes as planned, go for it.
HOWEVER, if you are worried AT ALL about post sale service, AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Wirefly customer service has proven to me that they are completely disjointed and no one person actually seems to talk to any other person, as if they are all working from their homes and reading from a script. Many broken promises (or flat out lies) and lots of run-around.
MDPA insurance:
PRO: Cheap, no deductible.
CONS: Somewhat of a wait and hassle (although reasonable considering the price) AND they have absolutely no contact with Wirefly. So even though the Wirefly people promised me a REPLACEMENT phone, the repair center simply followed protocol and repaired the phone instead.
A quote from the service rep who PM'd me on this forum:
LIES.
At the end of the day, I will be satisfied I supposed with a repaired phone, but the thought of the phone being torn apart (have you SEEN the breakdown video?) and put back together is a bit unnerving.
Hoping for the best though.
Mods - you can close this thread - I think we are done here.

Our management team has informed me that you have been approved for a replacement with a brand new (not refurbished) phone from MDPA. I recommend that you complete this process with MDPA as soon as possible so that you can have a new and functioning phone shortly.
LIES.
