Broken screen question

Hey guys,

I am interested in buying a DROID a855 for the Verizon network. I have been searching and searching on ebay but seem to lose all my bids at the last minute. The only ones that seem to stay at a low price range that many will not bid on have a broken screen. however, I found someone who is selling a touch screen digitalizer lens that they said was never fully installed/used and in working order. If I got a fully working phone with a broken screen would I just need to get a that digitalizer lens installed? And if so could verizon do that in store or would I have to ship it elsewhere?

Verizon won't do repairs. I sent mine to iPhone Repair - iPod Service - MacBook Screen Repair - iPad Repair - HTC Repair.
It cost $80 with overnight shipping to you. They took 1 day and did a perfect job. I highly recommend them.
