Ok, I broke my phone only after 3 months of having it without insurance. The phone still working fine up until this past sat. The screen finally went completely out. It's as if the light bulb is out, because if it rings I can still just swipe downward and answer and talk.
Other then that, nothing. Now when I hit the power button the home, back, menu, etc. buttons do light up, but that's it. My phone is rooted and I can't remember what firmware is on this phone, but the last update that included the "swipe" feature in the sms I didn't do.
So it's running whatever was prior to that update. I got a new Evo today running 2.3.3 so I'm good, but my main concern is, is there anyway I can retrieve my missed sms messages/voicemail? I was running webkey which I must say is sweet, but for some reason it's as if the service has stopped so I can't log into it.
Any help, advice, is greatly appreciated.
