Broken USB port

My son has been using my old Dinc as an mp3 player, but has broken the micro USB port. I can't find any replacement parts for it, or at least they are obscured by the parts for the Incredible 2 or Incredible S - or are they the same? Are there any reliable sources for this part? The only other option seems to be to buy a battery charger and do all file transfers wirelessly, which is less than ideal due to the inconvenience.

im nearly positive the charging port/usb port is part of the motherboard and can not be easily replaced unless you have some soldering skills.

While I have some soldering skills, those pins are a bit beyond those skills due to being so tiny. Looks like charging the battery separately is the only option. Thanks anyway!
