Hi guys, new here, figured there were a bunch of people on these forums that know a lot more than me.
My phone dropped onto the sidewalk, of course when it was out of my otterbox, and the screen cracked and the wireless antenna seems to be broken. The wifi is still 100% functioning, however when I put my sim card in I receive no signal. Tried restarting, reinserting tons of times. I've accepted the fact that it is probably too costly to fix and will be purchasing a new phone. However I am interested in still using my HTC Inspire as similar to the iPod touch. Use it as an mp3 player with android games, email, and internet browsing over wifi. I was just wondering if anyone of you guys on here knew how I could turn off the "No sim, emergency calls only." message? I am a fairly tech savvy person, however I am completely new to the android os, rooting and things of the such. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the long post and thanks again.
