Brother in arms 2

Looks like fun. I am a big fan of the BIA series on the PC and I have beaten them all many times over. I have the first one for my PSP, never play it anymore though.

Where can you find the game?

Did a quick Google and the only vendor I could find says not available on Verizon????

Any suggestions? What's the cost?

Thanks,

Lovin' my Droid 1 now that I have Swype beta. :)

It is a Android Games - Download Games for Android | Gameloft game. Only way to purchase it is through their website store (not available on the Market).

As a side note, yes the FPS controls on a touch screen do kind of suck. You get used to them, but they are still subpar to actual buttons. This will be Gameloft's third port of an FPS, the other two are Modern Combat: Sandstorm and N.O.V.A.

All of the games allow you change the sensativity, and with the new features in Gingerbread (Android 2.3) it may make it slightly easier to play with as well.

No Evo support with Brothers in Arms 2 though... Kind of lame.

The controls take some getting used too but they work fine, obviously you will never have the control of a mouse but the auto aim does make it fairly easy to hit your targets.

I did a string of around 9 headshots, so I think they've done a decent job with the controls.

Also runs very well on the Galaxy S, lots of action going compared to sandstorm but it copes very well, no slow down at all.

I'm not finding it. Only one I get on Gameloft for my Moto A855 Droid1 is Modern Combat:Sandstorm. Is that what you are talking about?

Thanks,

Trying to download the trial for my vibrant and I get the text to download it but all that link does is bring up a list of games compatible for my phone and no link to download the trial.

No, Modern Combat is different. These are the supported devices:

HTC Desire HD, HTC Desire Z, HTC My Touch 4G, HTC Scorpion, Motorola Droid 2, Motorola Defy, Motorola Droid X, Motorola Milestone, Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Atlas, Samsung Vibrant, Samsung 4G

If your device is not on that list, it won't show up for your phone (on the Gameloft site).

How does it run?

I have this game on the fascinate and the controls work just fine, learning curve is short, god everyone is such a whiner about touch screen phones, grow up

I don't mind it too much but it will never compare to consol controls, and consol controls will never compare to PC controls, that's just the way it is. With more buttons, space, control and functionality, you have more freedom and ease of play.

All this effort going into FPS games which will never work correctly and not one decent RTS which would work perfectly with touch controls..

game would be so much funner if your given the ability to friend people and to speak to them while playing.... it should work our phones do have microphones.

After looking at all of the titles Gameloft has released on Android, I no longer see this one on their website. Are they still selling it?

Note: it has nothing to do with my phone since I'm using my PC; there is also proof of this as it shows other titles that aren't supported such Dungeon Hunter 2 and Asphalt 6.

This is the link I have saved in my bookmarks, it's on page 2 and still available.

Ya well, that is the page off the main site. Whoever is in charge of updating their site must be the same person involved with customer service.

I really like Brother in Arms 2, if you just consider it a bit differently than desktop games "FPS-lite" and embrace auto-aim, the controls work great and the game feels like a bigger experience than screen size would suggest.

Yeah they should do something with their site. But I think their customer service is better than most.

I had an issue with Gun Bros, Tap Tap Revenge and Asphalt 6. I sent an email off to all 3 developers a few days ago and I have only had once response and it was from Gameloft.

They sent me an updated version of the game and some suggestions to clear up the issue. They have the best customer service as any big developer I have every had to deal with. Only a smaller developer can beat them.
