Android Question

I have a Galaxy Note II. When opening my browser today I selected my choice out of the four options that came up (Explorer, Chrome, Youtube, ect.). I then hit "use always" instead of "Just once". I did not want to do this and now I can not figure out how to change it back to giving me the multiple options.

You can go to Settings -> Application Manager -> Go to whichever app you chose to "use always" -> Towards the bottom there should be an option to clear defaults.

Once you do that, it should give you the options again.

Unfortunatly, the "app" I selected was Internet Explorer. Had it been Chrome, Youtube, Foxfire, ext.... I would have been able to clear defaults. I have been unable how to reset it with Explorer.

Welcome to our AndroidForums, Buterflie78 :).

Did you try what iTzKPanda suggested about going into your Settings application, selecting Apps or App Manager (it should be something like that), selecting the app that you mentioned about (I'm guessing it was something like ES File Explorer and not Internet Explorer, yes?), and scroll down to the section labeled something like "LAUNCH BY DEFAULT" and touch the "Clear defaults" button so it will no longer use that app as the default for your selected browser.

Let us know!

:)

Scary Alien, I have been through every possible application that the web can be launched from and made sure it was not set as "launch by default". I have repeatedly been through my app list searching for one that would even have a remote possiblility of being associated with Explorer. I have had no luck.

So, you said you opened your browser and then you were presented with a question / set of options, right? (i.e., the browser was already open)

What had you done just prior to that? Had you touched a link, file-to-download, etc.?

I think we might be talking about two different but related things...

I clicked on a link and a box popped up asking which browser I wanted to use. I pressed Explorer then it asks if you want to use this browser just once or always. I accidentally hit always.
