Root Browser doesn't work!

So I bought a Droid 3 from Craigslist. I don't have a Verizon account nor do I intend to. I'm merely using the phone for development and testing. I rooted the device. I then connected to my wifi. The connection seems to work. The device says connected. I verified on my router that it got the mac address, IP etc.

But I cannot access the Internet! Browser doesn't work. Everything else doesn't as well. What am I missing here?

I will try to help you out but I need a little bit more information. What do you mean your browser doesn't work? Does it fc, does it not connect? and also you said "everything else doesn't work, whats "everything else"?
