Help browser fading and freezing

Is it normal for the browser to.fade and freeze so I.h
​
ave to restart the phone?also what.browser is it?
 
In menu > settings > sound and display, how long did you set your screen timeout for?
 
Can anybody help please? It happens every few days
Its only the browser that is faint
Rest of phone ok
Have to restart to cure it Why could it be happening?
 
thats strange its playing up, maybe try a different browser, i use miren which i can recommend:D
maybe try clearing cache and data from browser in manage applications, see if that helps

Is that in browser menu more settings?
Went to Menu-Settings-Applications But couldnt find anything there
 
Is it fading like the back light getting dimmer like the screen timeout?
Is it always the same webpage(s)?
Is it only when you are on wifi? or on 3G/H?
Have you tried another brower? (Dolphin Mini, Dolphin HD, Opera, etc.?)

Apart using a different browser the only thing I can think of is to clear data and cache from the browers using settings; manage apps....

Settings Manage Apps but tap where next?
Seems to be on Google and usually on WiFi at home
Then will be fine for days
Downloaded Opera not used it much yet though as trying to learn such a lot about this great phone lol
So much nicer than myold nokia
Though I do have the urgue to throw it out the windows some days:o
 
Ok step by step

Home screen
menu
settings
Applictions
Manage Applictions
All (third tab across the top
Scroll right down to 'internet'
tap on internet.
Now clear data and clear cache.


This might sort it out... If not maybe someone else might be able to help.

Hopefully it will solve the problem
Always frightened of clicking Clear Data anywhere in case it stops something working lol
Would History Eraser do that if I downloaded it?
Been trying for ages on the pc to get into the site It kept saying maintenace:confused:
 
i wouldn't worry about history eraser app, much better for you to have control over what you're doing. it would probably just clear cache rather than data;)

Well done that thanks So fingers crossed.
Does that delete history also and how often should I be doing it?
Is that the only maintenance?:confused:
 
I only clear the data and the cache if an app is really playing up.

otherwise the only clearing out that I do is turning the phone off and turning on again. (maybe once every one or two weeks).
