browser often crashes plz help

Hey fellaz

At least once a day or so my browser will crash and shoot me to the home screen
I'm not useing any task killer apps
LG L38c running Android 2.3.6
Memory levels are OK

I've had some other problems too which I've posted questions about.
few people had told me to try a different browser like Firefox and Firefox beta.
went.to Google play and.its.says.that both are not compadable with my device

What are.some other good browsers? I've heard alot of people talk about dolphin?
Looking for abrowser that will keep my page loaded. My current browser will have to reload the.page.I'm on if I leave the browser.

Turn off browser sync in settings--accounts and sync--google

Seemed it wasnt just causing crashing, but slowdowns if I had the browser running in background. Had to force boot once. Turned off browser sync problem solved. Opera Mini is pretty dated these days, hardly seems to download correctly, and is a very crappy port of an ancient j2me browser during the feature phone era

Thanks for that info. Under settings accounts and sync. I don't see anything with browser sync. All It gas is background data sync and auto sync. Then it has 2 different account sync on the bottom but nothing has anything about browser.

I'm running Android 2.3.6

My recommendation is Dolphin Mini for the speed and site compatibility. Opera is as unsupported as Netscape and hardly works and downloads always fail. Depending on your version of Android, browser sync is in a different part of Accounts and Sync. I had to hunt for it in Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) and was hidden under 'google'
