browser redirects

my phone's browser keeps getting these pop ups recently, though i haven't installed anything new in a while.

what happens is i open a new tab and it redirects to blondetube or some other random site.

sometimes, this pop-up appears telling me my phones been infected, and it redirects my browser to a page where it asks to scan my phone.

i've tried airpush detector, addons detector, avg, avast, and i've deleted half my apps. i really have no idea what to do

What' the home page setting on your browser?

it happens on websites im pretty sure are safe. I use chrome so there's no home page.

i've also used several anti-virus apps to scan my phone, but nothing comes out

I dont think there are any android viruses as such and to get malware youd have to have Unknown Sources enabled, download an .apk and agree to install it :thumbup:

well, i deleted more apps, and the pop ups have ceased for now. it's kinda weird coz i've had these apps for ages, and it only started to happen recently. i hope i've found it anyway.
