Can I get the internet browser to stop turning when I lay on my side or turn the phone a lil?

Can I get the internet browser to stop turning when I lay on my side or turn the phone a lil?

The only way that I know of is to get into Menu/Settings/Display/Auto-rotate screen. Take the check mark out of the box. But that turns off the feature for all applications and it stays that way unless you go in and change it back.
