Probably an old question, but if I want to get rid of the crummy Orange World "Internet" icon on my Desire, what are the options (other than rooting at the moment)?
Change to Opera/Dolphin or similar?
A nicer icon?
A nicer widget?

Dolphin is a nice one, can get skins for it too.

I use stock but mine isn't intrusive.

You can change icons (although it will only be a shortcut) using folder organizer. See the tips and tricks forum above.

Download Fake Firefox, it's the Firefox icon but all it does is open the Stock browser, then you won't have to look at the Orange logo.

Still in alpha phase. Can be downloaded from their site. I did have it and It's still buggy as hell, I would guess it won't be released to the masses any time soon
