I've got Brut's version of Google Maps/Navigator running on my Ally to allow navigation outside the US, but the functionality is very disappointing. In fact is verges on useless. Problems:
1.) Unless you grab a WiFi connection on arrival at your foreign destination & get the GPS Assistance data loaded, the GPS will never sync up. (I use the "GPS Status" app). So, your first action is you must find a WiFi at the airport.
2.) When finally navigating, if the Ally screen is allowed to time out & go dark, Brut locks-up. You need to kill it and re-start it each time the screen times out.
3.) Sometimes Brut just refuses to run at all. After giving up & concluding its broken, I find the next day that it will run.
