BT Headphones not Connecting to Phone Source

Khas

Newbie
Hi All,

I've got a set of Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970 bluetooth headphones. I can pair the headphones fine, but for some reason only the Media source on the Desire pairs with the headphones - the Phone part doesn't.

Is there something I haven't done? Has anyone had any similar problems with other BT headphones?

I have the 980's and they work fine with both media and the phone part.

Didn't have to do anything other than to pair them up.

Make sure you turn on the headphones before the phones bluetooth.

If you do the following when connected:

Settings > Wireless and networks > Bluetooth settings > Long press on your headphones > Options

Make sure phone is ticked, if it is untick it, press back, wait 10 seconds, then long press to go back to its options and tick it again.

See if that works.

Ok, tried that.

When the headphones connect, the phone comes up and says they've been disconnected, then just lists it as Paired but not connected. A few seconds later, it says Connected to media audio. The options say that phone is selected as well. Not matter how many times I try this, even forgetting and repairing, it does the same thing :-(
