Help BT Home Hub

Apologies if this has been covered before. I am running 2.3.7 on a GT540 and cannot connect to my recently acquired BT Home Hub. Always worked before with Virginmedia. Seems to be a problem with this bloody Hub thing. Any advice gratefully received. Regards, Jeff.

Can you tell us whats happening, is it seeing the home hub? Is it trying to connect and failing? Is it hanging on "Obtaining IP address"?

Thanks for taking the time. As you identified, it is hanging at "obtaining IP address". My PS connects no problem. Regards, Jeff.

I would start by checking your security key is correct, its so easy to miss-type on the screen of our phone.

k try rebooting the phone and the home hub sometimes they just need a lil reboot, I cant think of any reasons why it should not work if it worked before. Also if you can try to connect to a different wifi hotspot to see if it will work with another one.

Tried rebooting several times and have reset the Hub. Phone wi fi works everywhere else. Seems there is is something about the BT Home Hub which doesn't agree with android phones. Regards, Jeff.

I would check the settings on the home hub then, there is no reason it should not work, unless some setting is stopping it.
