BT Speakerphone not working...

I just purchased an external bluetooth speaker with microphone to use as a speakerphone with my Galaxy Nexus. I do not use any cell carrier at this time. Just VOIP with GrooveIP and Talkaphone. The BT speaker connects fine and I do use it with the Scanner Radio app without any problems, but I can't get it to work as a speakerphone as the speaker is capable of this function. All calls are using the handset. Anyone have n Curefor this problem?

When it is connected, look at it in the bluetooth settings page. On that device's settings, make sure the checkbox for "Phone audio" is checked.

If you can't check it, etc, it may be the device is not asserting itself as being capable.

I believe if it is to support talking, the icon needs to look like a gamers headset (headphones with a mic). If it just looks like earphones, I don't believe it will work for what you are intending.
