Bug: Closing the kickstand disables your keep screen on while charging setting?

I posted about this on the official Moto forums, but didn't get any 3rd party confirmation.

Try setting "Stay awake" option under Settings => Applications => Development => Stay awake (Screen will never sleep while charging).

Now open and close the kickstand, do you see the setting become unchecked before your eyes?

Happens for me whether or not the Settings => Display => Kickstand enable is enabled.

Bump, if people don't mind, just checking to see if this bug exists on your phone as well would be very helpful.

I'm bumping gum's thread because I wanted to evaluate this over a period of time. I don't think it's necessarily related to the kickstand, but I did notice that even when I hit the toggle for the phone to "stay awake" when plugged in, it eventually gets toggled off. Today, I thought maybe it was because of the built in task manager, but there are no apps on the kill list.

Anybody notice this issue? If not, I might just go in to get a replacement phone soon.

-EDIT- Okay, I confirmed that the kickstand does disable the stay awake mode. Just wonder why it doesn't change the setting when you disable the active kickstand. Weird.
And I can't confirm if it's just the kickstand that disables that function or if it's the phone setting in general that will turn that off after a while.
