Root Bugless Beast (Android 2.1) is out now!

This is easily the best ROM available, you all need to check this out if your deciding. Its has it all!

How is this ROM better than Sholes 2.0.5? Just want to know the differences. I notice now that the live wallpapers on this Bugless Beast (android 2.1) don't work properly.

Its good, I will continue to use it, but my favorite rom was bugless beast. Sholes seemed laggy compared to my beast, even when sholes was up at 1.2Ghz.

The main downsides to BB2.1 are only LED when phone is sleeping, can unlock by opening and closing keyboard and no auto brightness. I tried to use taz's overclock kernel so I could use the CPU temp he provides but it seemed to be running a little sluggished compared to the one loaded with it, but thats not a huge deal

Yes the live wallpapers dont have that interactive touch support with the default launcher, however by using dxtop or GDE you can get that functionality.

I think the 2.1 ROMs aren't worth messing around with untill the official 2.1 update hits... this will lead to the caliber of ROMs we have now but with 2.1

Can't see anything on it worth updating from 7.4. Live Wallpapers? Eh, no thanks. Everything else looks the same (minus the browser m/t issues).

I upgraded from 0.7.4 to 0.7.5 primarily b/c it disables OTA updates...

Version 0.7.5
-Modified Car Dock App to match the Glass Theme (Removed the two background images containing the gray bars)
-Removed Maps (Market Version is multitouch and fixes fc issues within other apps)
-Added TazKern1000m allows clocking of 250, 550, 800, 950, & 1000 (MHz)
-The new kernel supports temperature monitoring via the app "Temp Monitor"
-Added the new version of Set CPU V1.4.6 (included in the nandroid backup)
-Added AdamZ's News & Weather App with HTC Weather Images (Removed all question marks from the HTC Weather Images & The Weather Chanel Logo & 2 Gray Background from detailed Weather Screen)
-Fixed issues users were having with sending attachments via Gmail
-Added scroll bars back (didn't realize that removing them from app draw removes them from every app)
-Added FLAC Support (credit to Kenny Root)
-Fixed busybox permissions
-Added pressed application background
-Disabled OTA Updates

I think I'll wait on BB 2.1 for now, it seems it has some issues that need working out....

I did a full wipe and installed BB2.1 and my phone has never run smoother. Overclocked at 1Ghz and running like a champ. Phone only feels hot when I use it nonstop for quite a while. Don't think I've found any drawbacks to upgrading. Personally I really like the live wallpapers also.

I feel like the phone finally has the touch response of the iphone.

I have got it on my phone and it runs fairly well.
I had some FC issues and such - but I am honing it down to the 1.1 taz kernel.
Live WP only works on lock screen, which is actually not half bad, otherwise not bad at all.

Only thing I am not sure how to work on this is:
Installable Add-on Apps: Click To Download
-Milestone Weather Widget (credit to Pete)
-Milestone Phone Portal (credit to Pete)

The phone portal is a .zip with an apk supposedly in there, but I cannot get it to install at all - no apk inside.
