Root Build cm7

I would like to try to build cm7 from the kangs out now for the triumph.

Which should lead to me being able to build miui(hopefully) down the road.

My question is can any devs, or anybody doing the same throw some pointers and what to do to get started first? Any help would be great! Trying to give the triumph little more light way since the device if gotten at a great price is a nice phone. Sure it has it quirks but what phone doesnt?

This is what I'm doing right now.
I have been working with the MTDEV team for a while. You could look at g60's thread and see what we have done.

This is your best bet as I know issacj & tickerguys githubs are out of date. I am not sure if mantera has been keeping up with his GitHub for gingerbread branch but you could ask him.
