Root Building a ROM for the Esteem

I'd like to attempt building a ROM. Are there any Esteem-specific guides? I didn't find any when I did a search.

Somewhat- everything I know I've learned from you guys on this site. I tinker with my Esteem as a hobby and I just want to "get my feet wet" and learn a little about developing, that's all.
