basically i've got an htc desire, i love everything about it, but i have an ipod touch for music and it has an app for brighton and hove buses, i was dissapointed when i found out there isnt one for android!!
i would be more than willing to pay for this app on android,
just to confirm its a realtime bus board for brighton an hove.
please please please someone bring this to android.

I'd speak to brighton and hove bus service providers.

I've been using Catch that Bus from the market for a while. It works perfectly in most cities and towns, so that might be worth a try?

You can use Google maps to get bus times at most bus stops.

Some countries (like Holland) have a public transport nationwide Android application (so, also buses). Search in the Market?

Check out Hop Stop in the market.

As someone else said Google maps shows the info but I find that the B&H Buses website is the best way to check times (it's a good site I've always thought), that is until they release an app. I didn't know there was one for iPhone, is it an official one from the bus company?

I use this one here in Frankfurt...it is listed as covering the UK too but I haven't used it there yet.

That said, if the UK coverage is even half as good as Germany, it is a fantastic app - Lists the Bus/Train/Tram stops near you with what is leaving and when.
