It is not uncommon after flashing a ROM or firmware to encounter boot-up problems. I suggest that you boot into Recovery mode and wipe the cache partition and then try rebooting...

Done that still same,,,i dont think it was rooted, before uploading the rom etc...maybe its that, best stop messing, going round in circles.

OK. Then you need to flash a stock Samsung firmware for your phone and CSC code, via Odin. How to download the correct firmware and flash it are described in #1.7 of the Jelly Bean update - Dummies Guide

Thanks for that the phone is now running..

Now to unlock & reflash LOL, think rooting the rom was my prob

very strange, not unlocked yet,
reflashed a few times and tried to install kitkat etc...status 7 errors
so went back to standard firmware with odin to install,
not unlocked using various tools from google play
it is asking for sim unlock code..which used to be 0000, although sim is on 3, and phone is orange

weird

Think a hammer is needed,evne had no imei at one bit...apart from stock roms, and supersu, i cnat seem to install custom roms, i can now root the phone, but not unlock
originally on orange, i changed to o2, then orange, then o2 and orange again
think thats it tonight, half a job LOL

My CSC is unknown, and cannot change it..
phone is rooted and works on original network Orange
really stuck, and so infuriated with this mental blockage

going to try stock rom for H3G or CPW

mind boggles now I even paid an online unlock company, they couldn't do it
