Busybox

I currently have a "TEMP" rooted Desire and downloaded Titanium Backup so that I can freeze bloatware. I noticed there weren't any apps listed in Titanium Backup and asked me to install Busybox. Is busybox a hack and is it safe to install? Will it void my warranty or stop my ability to upgrade OTA updates? (I need OTA updates which is why I TEMP rooted my phone instead of PERM rooted my phone)

Busybox is a linux based suite of tools. It is just an app really, although it probably will put it in /system/xbin. You can remove it later with titanium.

Did titanium ask for root permissions ok?

No, it wont void your warranty and it shouldn't prevent OTA updates either.
