Root Buttons stay lit ics

I updated to ics and my 4 buttons stay lit all the time. Any fixes?

Haha this is a question everyone asks after loading an ICS ROM... all you have to do is toggle your Auto Brightness on and off. Then the next time you turn the screen off, the buttons should turn off as well.

toggling the auto brightness will keep the lights off when the screen is off, but the buttons will always stay on when the screen is on. you can download something like adjbrightness from the market and turn the lights off completely.

so I picked up my phone to do what you advised me to do, and I realised that my buttons were not lit up anymore. so I turned my screen on, and the buttons still won't light up. ha, I have the opposite problem all of a sudden!

I did turn auto brightness on just now, and the buttons now light up when the screen is on, and turn off when the screen is off. Thanks guys!
