Buy Inspire...battery question

I'm getting rid of my Captivate, it keeps shutting off randomly about 3 times a day. I've read that there are battery issues, but my cappy isn't much better and lasts me between 12-18hrs.

Am I better off buying another battery 1500/1600mah battery on ebay, or getting a Power-Skin?

I would just buy another battery, the power-skins are much more expensive and I have heard a lot of complaints as far as how hefty the phone becomes with a case that big. Just my thoughts......

The higher cap batteries for inspire are fake, smaller cap than the 1230mah one that comes with the phone from everything I've read.

I mean, you'd think, if somehow the tech that $10 batteries on ebay used was actually able to squeeze more mah into the same space as htc is doing, htc would have done it themselves.

Just buy a spare HTC battery. It can be a pain to swap them out if you have a hefty case like the otterbox defender but at least you have a backup just in case.

I have one charger at home, one at the car, one at work and always carry an USB cable with when carrying my laptop.
