Buyer Advice On New Phones

AndyJay

Newbie
Not too sure if this is the right area to ask but, I need advice on which mobile phone to buy next.

I've got a HTC Desire HD (Android) at the moment but it's starting to break down and get annoying. Part of the touch screen doesn't work and it's just seems to be slowing down more and more. I'm not interested in an iPhone as they're just a rip off.

So I was looking at either another Andriod or a Windows phone? My max budget is probably going to be around

Hello AndyJay! Welcome to the forums! :)

Hopefully this will be a bit better spot for your question. :)

Thank you for joining!

Now it's going to come down to what you want from a smartphone.
Do you need expandable storage? A removable battery?
I think the One X won't be seeing anymore updates, but I think the S3 and the Nexus 4 have one or two left.
Do you care for the camera?

Hmm it's really just for typical every day use such as Internet, texts, phonecall, facebook etc.

A nice camera would be good too. I've asked a few mates and they've all said the S3 would be the best?

One of my mates from work has a S3, she's gonna show me tomorrow :) I like the looks of the S3 in White :P Is this a micro-sim phone btw?

That's good. The more you like the phone, the more you know that it's the phone for you :)
And yes it is a micro-sim phone. It's located in the back by the SD card slot.

And I believe you can print off a template and cut a bigger sim down right?
