Seeing that The new Razor/Spyder is going to annouced on the 18th and launched soon after do any of you filled jilted from buying the Bionic and it being replaced so quickly??

The only reason I have my Bionic is because Verizon swapped out my Charge for one for free. I will be dumping it on to someone else as soon as the Prime is released.

My two weeks is up on the 19th, so I'll think about it. I'm probably not changing, though.

My 14 days is also up on the 19th. I am returning and waiting on the HTC Vigor. I dont care how long I have to wait.

I can see buying a car today and in two weeks when they release one with different features, going back to the dealer and saying i dont want it can I have that one instead.

One big issue with changing: right now we are waiting for a supposed November OTA which will fix bugs and issues with the phone. If you buy a newly released handset, you basically restart the guinea pig timer again.

Yes.

My Bionic has a bug infestation. I turn it off, and 5 minutes later I hear a machine moving (the Bionic boot animation sound). This has happened to me 4 times already (so once a week). Apps crash like I am beta-testing. I also noticed the touchscreen is extremely inaccurate. I used to be able to swype on my old Galaxy S flawlessly, and click website links with pinpoint accuracy. On my Bionic, it's like surfing the web on a desktop with my left hand on the mouse (I'm right-handed), and it feels like I'm swypeing with my toes.

No buyer's remorse until the update.

Why not have Verizon replace it with one that works correctly. My first one had a bad battery drain issue (much worse than what I have read about on the boards.) I complained and they replaced it. The new one has no bugs that I can find. No random reboots, the battery life is fine, no BSOD's, no data issues, none of what I see mentioned. The phones have a warranty and, like anything else you would purchase, if it doesn't work properly, take it back. I didn't get any grief, in fact, when I spoke with the lady at VZW on the phone about replacing it, she found a store near me that was willing to replace it so that I didn't have to go through all the shipping mess.

I understand the frustration with getting the "Cutting Edge" product and it being faulty and I certainly feel (from all that I've read) that Moto and VZW used the users as guinea pigs for their newest hottest item. I also see a great value in posting in areas like this and Moto's forums to report bugs, but when we all start demanding a replacement for a faulty product, they may step up their game. Exchanges hit them in their wallets. Forum posts are just electrons on a website. If you can't get the first person to replace the defective unit, call back and try again or ask for a supervisor.

Sorry for the Rant, but $300 for a phone is way too much to not demand satisfaction from the supplier. If you bought a $50 coffee maker and it didn't work but every other day, you'd be back at Wal-Mart in a heartbeat.

Forget buyers remorse....the RAZR better come this year. If not I will probably be getting the Bionic, maybe the Prime. Leaning more towards the Bionic.

If the Bionic works well for whoever has one and they are enjoying their phone.....why have buyers remorse?

This is a silly question that gets asked after every single phone is released.

I bet you $5 that someone is going to say the same damn thing after the Razor/Spyder comes out because someone will announce yet ANOTHER phone coming out that has a more powerful processor, better battery, more RAM, and a better screen.

This is nothing new and has been around since the dawn of technology, there is always something around the corner and unless you make a freaking choice and buy something you will always be waiting for the next best thing.

My personal feelings? I came from an OG Droid to the Bionic, it is night and day and I love my bionic!!! I am now getting used to using even more features of Android including wireless syncing of podcasts etc.

This, its kind of like an addiction for me though lol.

It's an expensive addiction. haha

Here's some tips to cure or avoid buyers remorse.

1) For all the kids...Finish school, get a degree and get a high paying job. It's easier to keep up with the Joneses when you got a lot of money. :D

2) Shop smart. If you don't need to pay full price...don't.

3) Generalize your wants and specify your needs. Like I want a mutli- core processor with 1 gb of ram...at least. Not...I want the fastest processor and the most RAM. It should be more like...I need a fast processor that won't lag for the things I use the phone for.

4) See tip 1 even if you're not a kid...haha.

My View is this...

I've owned a slew of Android Devices, including all of the LTE 4G devices VZW has dropped this year for the exception of the Revolutiuon (LG not my cup of tea)

Some may not side with me on this, but I have to say I think the best one all around to date was the Charge..Yes I gave it up the minute the Bionic dropped for the chance to have all that dual core glory and raw power in my hands. At this point I wont say the Bionic is a bad phone at all...But the Camera and Battery life are very suspect, and If I had to do it all over again I would have kept my charge and waited for the Nexus Prime.

With that said, do I have buyers remorse? A little! Like I said, I would have waited for the Prime...But then again, I'm a tech addict and always want the newest toys that hit the market (like alot of us) So for now I'm rockin my Bionic and patiently waiting for the Prime...

There will always be something better around the corner, it's a very expensive hobby trying to keep up with the times in the tech world, which I understand and take the hit on $$$...lol

I don't have it at all. A new phone with better specs, even by the same manufacturer, was bound to come sooner rather than later. Nature of the beast. I needed a new phone, a very capable phone, and I got the best phone currently on the market.

Yeah, I share the same opinion. At least it was the best phone at one point which makes it still a great phone no matter what phone comes out.

This is my 2nd Bionic (1st one had the same problems). Also, I paid $150 for it.

No buyer's remorse because I'm waiting for the bootloader to be cracked, or an OTA update to release.

You are almost as bad as me. My problem is my "always having the latest and greatest addiction" has leaked over into the tablet space as well. This is getting freaking expensive lol! That being said, the Razr and the Prime are both just minor improvements over the Bionic so if you have a Bionic just enjoy it and forget about anything else coming out. :-)

I've been saying that the Charge is overall the best 4G Verizon phone but some people laugh at me. I knew you kind of felt the same way, so at least I'm not alone!

I think it's more of a Samsung vs. Motorola. Although the Bionic's processing speed, LTE, and GPS blows me away, everything else is whatever. I actually prefer my old Samsung Captivate when it comes to everything else: better screen, thinner body, better OS (yes, I like TouchWiz 10x more than I like MotoBlur), better battery life, no bugs, better development, etc. But the thing that bothers me the most would have to be the Bionic's OS and bugs. With a good custom ROM, I expect this phone to be the best LTE phone available (not just on paper).
