Hello,

I was wondering what kind of batteries are compatible with the atrix. For example, will the Droid X batters (regular/extended) work with the atrix?

Thanks ^_^

Anyone have any luck finding a good place to buy a backup battery? I'm preparing for a 20 hour flight, so a backup would be nice...

I actually just received my extra battery in the mail today. I bought it off of amazon. Its $6 plus standard shipping cost.

Amazon.com: NEW MOTOROLA OEM BH5X BATTERY FOR DROIDX DROID X MB810: Cell Phones & Accessories

It technically a battery for the DroidX. I haven't tested it just yet cuz i literally just opened the package.

Here's a quote from a buyer who used it for the Atrix:
"
I recently purchased 2 of these batteries for 5 dollars shipped each. I wanted to use them as a spare for the new Motorola Atrix. My Atrix originally comes with a BH6X 1880 mAh "extended life" battery. Its the same size but ever so slightly thicker (currently much more expensive ). Both batteries I recieved (from seller named "The OEM Planet") were in new condition and held the charge like I would expect. My Atrix usually drains the extended battery over the course of a full day. This BH5X battery performed similar with just slightly less Battery life ,as you would expect.

Hope this helps!

How about a link for a spare battery charger?

And why not get the Droid extended one, I hear it's same as the Atrix stock one.
