Buying S3 battery from Anker - but is there more than one s3?

I am going to purchase this battery from amazon as a birthday present for a friend. He has a Canadian Samsung galaxy (just like mine). I have the product listed below in the link

1) The product says it works with the Samsung Galaxy S3, I9300 - but since I can't see my friend's phone without revealing the present, is there such a thing as a s3 i9301? i9302? If so, I wonder if there will be issue of compatibility with the battery.
2) Do all the samsung s3 work with the same batteries so this shouldn't be an issue?

Yeah, is far as I know, a battery for i9300 will work with any model of s3

I agree. I have used Anker batteries in my cellphones for several years and find them to be of good quality. Plus, the S3 batteries have NFC capability.
