Buying the Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro?

Who is here is buying (or considering) the Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro?

I'm desperate for a new phone since my Galaxy S20 Ultra camera lens is cracked and I can only charge wirelessly due to water damage. Would really prefer to hold out for the next best Galaxy but really kinda need something ASAP (I even considered getting the iPhone 15!).

Curious to hear from those consdering the Pixel 8: what phone do you have now and what's keeping you on the fence?

 
I'm 99.9% sure I will be getting a Pixel 8 tomorrow. Not sure if I will be getting the 8 or the 8 Pro. It depends on what I hear tomorrow, price and trade in value of my old phone.
 
This "Switch to Pixel" promo leaked:

They're targeting people switching from iPhone to Android and pump some of their AI photo features... but it misses the mark IMO from a promo standpoint.

It looks like Google's official Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Cases have leaked, too:

I'll definitely be in the market for a case!
 
What ZDNET is expecting tomorrow:
  • Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro
  • Pixel Watch 2
  • Pixel Buds 2
And... one more thing?
 
I reckon my s21 has another few years' life in it, so am not in the market at the moment.

The extended software support is appealing, but the Pixel 7 is too big for me, so the Pixel 11 (most likely model when I'm next in the market) will have to be smaller than that to be considered.
