Lurker
Have been lurking for a couple of weeks. Was reluctant to use a touch screen phone. They seemed a bit spendy/fragile for any outdoor/all weather work/play environment. Thought maybe for 50 bucks, I'll give the LG Optimus S a try. Slapped a Body Glove and screen protector on, and no worries. And all the apps. Pretty cool. My old Blackberry is all but forgotten. I gotta thank everyone here for all the info/opinions. Good stuff. I'll try to report back on how this unit stands up to wx extremes (try to keep it dry), g forces, pressure differentials, chemicals, and fat fingers. Thanks again.
