Bypass activation..!!!!

I did a hardreset to my Eris..and I'm stuck now with activation screen..plz help me to bypass activation..plz guide me to anyway to bypass it..

When going into the activation screen, press the call button, then, as the phone is dialing, press the home or menu button.

thx 4 ur help..but I've tried that with no luck..when I press menu during call it just show me (people and flash options)..also when I press home button it takes me back to activation screen..!!!

I'm surprised it did not work; we just did that with a co-workers Eris last week.

There are other methods that some say work, I've never seen but they are reported.

Use at your own risk

- keep hitting activate and the back button repeatedly until it crashes or freezes up, pull the battery and reboot

- at the activation screen instead of clicking the android click each corner of the screen clockwise starting at the upper left (that's a Droid remedy but reported to work on G1 and other Android based devices):

- Go to a Verizon store with your phone and tell them you want it to boot up without activating

ur help is really appreciated..but none of that methods worked for me..!!
I don't know what's wrong..and I can't take it to verizon store cuz i'm outside USA..!

I'd call Verizon and explain everything.

select 'emergency dial'

enter ##778 to go to programming.

enter 000000

when it goes to the programming menu, hit home button and you should be set. If that doesn't work, your Eris is not functioning correct. Flash a different rom...
