Root C811-Can't seem to root with apps.

Hey all. I have a problem, I cannot seem to successfully root my C811 using either Klingo or Motochopper. Klingo fails, and motochopper says it succeeds but reboots the phone presumably causing it to un-root on boot. I've read the "rooting m070" thread but haven't been able to install CWM recovery having not been able to get root in the first place. I successfully rooted my C771 a few times first with the shell script exploit and then a couple times later using one-click app(s) of which I don't remember which. I'm at a loss here - any ideas?

Disregard. I think I got it with motochopper and the "rooting m70" thread. Remains to be seen if it'll stick.

How did you get this to work? I seem to be having the same problem. No CWM yet, and root is lost after motochopper reboots.

I got motochopper to root without it rebooting my phone. I BELIEVE the first couple times I tried it the phone rebooted automatically without my pressing enter on motochopper to initiate phone reboot. With it successfully rooted I flashed
CWM and installed "surprise" and ancillary apps.

So don't hit enter on motochopper to reboot. Disconnect it from the computer after it roots when it asks you to press enter the last time.

Yep, got it after three tries. Motochopper was auto-restarting at first. All set up now with Surprise and working great.
