C811 Drivers

Thought I would post these for when someone asks. Enjoy!
Dri
The drivers should be at your phone, just plug it to your pc and then look for the dryness at phone root path.

Would you mind explaining this step a bit different. I don't understand 'dryness' and pardon me, phone root path looks like...?

Win 10 being used. I cant locate drivers on phone and I don't have the adb for this phone on comp. either. Thank you in advance for your welcome msg and your assistance with this.

not a problem steve. I do what I can :)
you need to download the drivers from my onedrive link, under commando 2-> drivers -> C811 Drivers from phone. then extract to a folder and run the exe called "G'zOne_USB_Driver". If it asks you to, reboot your pc. then you download the rooting method of your choice, depending on the version of your phone's software.

the way I download them from OneDrive is that I right click on the zip file and click download ("C811 Drivers from phone", for example). I've never gotten the server error before, but what I can so if you are still having problems is copy my files to another file hosting service.

Sorry for the late reply, college does not offer a solid schedule of which I can use for getting back to people on these forms...

I don't have a link, but assuming you have the drivers correctly installed and you have tested them with adb...
There are two types of root software out there. CMD scripts and applications.
With the applications, they all should be self-explanatory with helpful user interfaces and easy install processes. Just watch for adware.
With CMD scripts, you want to run the file with the ".bat" extension. If you don't have file extensions enabled in your folder explorer, the under file type, it should say something like "batch file." Just make sure you read everything that the window says, and follow the instructions.

good luck!

No worries and I feel your pain. I am currently back in college myself. I believe I have got root. I followed instructions on another thread and following steps posted utilized the KangoRoot app. Checked with RootChecker which came back with I GOT ROOT. I have had a couple of crashes of sites. Pandora was one and I don't recall what the other(s) may have been. Reading what you just sent I am wondering if I took a poor short cut or something. Phone is bricked. SO that's good.
