Root CA-201L Hard Bricked. Need Help.

Shigaon

Lurker
Hi, because of my mistake I flashed wrong aboot file and bricked my phone.
Its even doesn't turned on and red charge light doesn't work.
So I don't have any option to boot recovery or whatever...
ADB on PC doesn't see my phone too =/

How I can reflash rom in this situation?

Thanks a lot for any help.

Normally (unless someone knows an easier way for that particular phone) you JTAG the phone. That's a hardware device that talks directly to the computer and bypasses any ROM. There are plenty of JTAG services advertised on eBay. (You don't want to spend more than the phone is worth on a box, and spend a week or two learning how to use it.)

If you did what I did and flash aboot to your bootloader then fastboot still works. Just pick up a stock rom and flash it's boot and all is good :)

How do you enter fastboot from a cold start? I've been trying to do it (stock recovery) on a pair of C811s

If you flashed something to BOOT, just turn it on. I don't know about with the stock recovery but with CWM you can use adb.

I recommend to do the following on the computer with linux. Completely turn off the phone and remove the batteries. Press and hold both volume buttons. After 5 seconds connect usb cable from computer to phone and type in the console command 'dmesg'. Please output or screenshot insert into this thread.

How did you even get to flashing your ROM?
I have the CAL-21 (CA-201L Japan version from AU KDDI) and I cannot flash it. I tried everything! I am able to the recovery mode but that's about it. I try to do something and it asks for a password.
I am getting frustrated with this SIM LOCK thing. I even emailed AU KDDI but they told me they can not (or wont?) help me.
