Calendar Help

I'm having a hard time getting my calendar to work. To input an event. I tried the stock one, business calendar, Google calendar, and acalendar.

It gives me a message that I have to add to My Calendar, but I can't figure out how to. Tried searching here and on YouTube. Probably something simple that I'm missing.

can you post some screen shots?? my calendar is a stock feature, so when u add an event to the calendar My Calendar shows up as an automatic first option, but then u can pull down the menu and choose other calendars, like Gmail one...
