Help Calendar issue

Hi everybody!

Someone had set up a Facebook event that wasn't really an event, but more of a "support this policital issue" type of deal, and was constantly clogging up the smallest calendar agenda widget on my HTC Desire HD, the one that shows only the next/current event. I was now tired of having that event blocking everything, so I went ahead and removed the event from my calendar on Facebook, and expected it to eventually disappear from my phone calendar as well. Well, a few days later, it was still there on my phone, so I searched around the web, and found that Settings > Applications > Manage applications >> Calendar Storage > Clear data would do the trick. Trouble is, now my calendar is completely empty on my phone, even after going into the calendar app and update the calendars. After searching around again, I found that I was supposed to disable all synchronizations before clearing the calendar storage data, which I missed the first time around.

Even trying to use HTC Sync won't bring back the events from my Outlook calendar. I tried creating an event on my phone, and when I used HTC Sync, it was successfully copied to my Outlook calendar. Even removing the test event from my Outlook calendar and syncing again worked (it was automatically removed from my phone after the sync), but I just can't seem to get back all my other events and appointments.

I can't seem to get back all my other Facebook events (which I do want to keep around), either.

What can I do to get this working again?

I'm guessing something it's about sync flags or change flags or something like that, but I just don't know where to start. Can anyone help?

Never did get HTC Sync working. I use MyPhoneExplorer to sync Outlook with my DHD. (Google it).

Can't help with the FB stuff as I don't use it.
