Root Calendar Notification Delay

Has anyone else noticed that calender notifications don't trigger until the phone is woken up? A quick search doesn't appear to show any other posts.

I'm running .595 Gingerbread with battery mode is set to nighttime saver.

i added an event in my calendar tuesday for a softball game, and i fell asleep and it woke me up, but im on apex 2.0 im not on gingerblur .595 yet, i may not make that leap unless i continue to get facebook re-authentications

try re-syncing the calendar and seeing if that helps.
