Help Calendar Predicitve Text??

Question for calendar text entry. When I go to add an event and want to use an acronym as soon as I press the space bar it decides to "correct" the entry for me. For example BCBSRI becomes Binary. Grrr. Did I turn this on by accident or is that the way it comes programmed? Either way, is there a way to make it quit and accept the actual letters I type?

Thanks, Harold

Well if using T9Trace or T9Text (the 2 stock ones) you would manualy type your jumble of a word/acronym/abbr. and then *before spacing* tap the word as shown in red in the upper left corner of the keyboard. Same for Swype beta.

Hope that helps,
John

+1, as to that being what I find is about it for a solution as well. I sometimes need to remember to pay attention to the upper left side word.
Does anyone get double last words? If I enter an appoint like 10am dentist it frequently shows up as 10am dentistdentist. Weird.

Scroll to bottom of list and check Auto-Accept

That fixed it for me. You can also disable the auto correction there as well if you prefer.
