Help Calendar question

I have synced my personal gmail calendar as well as my work gmail calendar and they are both showing up on my phone. It also shows the US holidays calendar. All these have different colors separating them.. I know how to change them on my gmail but does anyone know if the phone allows me to choose which colors I want for each of the calendars?? (note: the colors showing up on the phone arent the same as the ones showing up on gmail)

I think the phone only shows the colors setup on the web-based calendar. I do not believe you can either change the colors on the phone or use different colors than those used on the web-based calendar.

Thats the problem I'm having, the colors on the web based calendar are not coming out on the evo. Its a complete different set of colors (2 which are the same so it gets confusing)

It appears that certain color choices from the web-based calendar do not populate to the phone. See:

Calendar Color Sync with Android 1.5 (HTC Hero) - Calendar Help

Try choosing one of the colors from last 2-3 rows of the web-based calendar, then sync on the phone. See if that helps.
