Help Calendar reminders

I tend to make Calendar entries via Google Calendar on the web, and without reminders. However, when Google Calendar syncs with the SG2 (standard app) all the entries are set with a 10 minute reminder by default. Has anyone else found this, and/or a way to stop it?

I'm afraid that I don't see that. I created two test events in Google Calendar (web), one all-day and one timed, ensured that neither had reminders set and then opened the Calendar app on my phone and waited for it to sync. Once it did so, I looked at the events, and neither had any reminders set.

I was afraid that might be the case. Oh well, at least I know.
