After more years on Palm than some of you youngsters have been alive I finally decided that I had to come into the 21st Century!
I have successfully migrated my contacts, calendar, memos etc. to my new Galaxy S2 and it just blows my mind!
My only problem so far is with the search facility in Calendar. On the PC it's flawless and finds a diary entry in a second or two but on the S2 it freezes and eventually displays a box telling me that the application has stopped and asking me to force its close-down.
Could the problem be the size of my diary? I like to keep historical records and it goes back to 1999. On my last Palm (a Centro) it would find a diary entry very quickly.
Any of you clever techies any idea what my problem may be? My calendar, contacts and Gmail are all synching perfectly. I've shut down all other applications and cleaned up the RAM, but nothing helps.
