Help Calendar Time Zone changes

I have an EVO and use Exchange. When I change time zones, my calendar times change. How can I fix this, it's maddening.

In Calendar settings is checkbox "Use home time zone", which should show all dates and times in calendar in preselected time zone. At least in AOSP Gingebread, I don't know if this parameter is present on EVO.

I had the same problem on a recent trip to Hawaii; all appointment times in the calendar were 3 hrs off. I don't see the setting the other poster mentions, but from the Evo desktop, under Menu, Settings, Date & Time, the Automatic choice is checked by default. Once Automatic is unchecked,you can set the date & time. I did not find this while in Hawaii, so I have not verified that this solves the calendar time shift problem, but looks like it should. Can someone who travels please verify?

The calendar app needs to give us an option whether to change our appointments once we switch time zones. My HTC/Sprint Touch running windows mobile did this when I would travel. Slight oversight on HTC/Android not to include this feature.
