Calender colours

Hi all
I have searched the forum for something on this topic but have found nothing so...
Can anyone tell me how to ensure that when I sync my outlook on my PC ( with alli ts loavely colour coded events) those colours are transfered to my desire?

As far as I am aware, because Google calendar online doesn't support this, the calendar on the device doesn't support it either. I hope someone will correct me on this, but am pretty sure you can't do it.

The way round this for me was to transfer my coloured categories in Outlook into separate Google Calendars (Companion Synchronize amongst others can do this). These then appear colour coded in the HTC Calendar.

The other option is DejaOffice - which I have not tried but supports Outlook categories, which the stock calendar does not.

thank you for this information. the google bit sounds rather complicated for a beginner - I think I'll have to put up with it!
