Help Calender with (no) weekdays ?

I have a HTC Desire Z, the calender is so-so. It does not show which weekday it is. 17 of April 2011 is sunday, so 18 of April is monday etc.. The default calender has agenda mode, "to day" etc I dont know the name of it..

Any advice ??
