Help calender

Have had Optimus V for about a week and used the google account from work to download app from android market. When I open calender it is the calender from work that multiple people have access to, so I added an account with a new user name and password, but when I tap on it, it only has "Sync contacts" and "Sync Gmail" listed and not "Sync calender" like the first (group) acoount does. How can I add a private calender to this second Google account? Thanks.

Can't you just create a new private calendar without creating a new user account?
