I know a lot of people on the Moment burned up their LED's when the flashlight app first came out. I think the advice to leave the flashlight on to kill the battery is risky. When I see stuff like that mentioned as gospel it makes the rest of the post look like it was written by a 5 year old.
I don't think most battery problems lie in mis-calibration anyway. It's in app management and setup.
