Root Calibrate battery with new kernnel

Does anyone out there know how to calibrate the battery after you flash a new kernnel?

I've never tried this method, but it's worth a shot. Check this out:

I personally allow the battery to fully run out of battery to the point where it won't even boot up, then fully charge it and wipe battery stats.

Does it really even matter if you do this? I mean, does it ever get so out of whack that it would be off by like 10%?

I always wondered that too...I have wiped battery stats before, but I dont think it did anything. But I did it because I was concerned about battery life, not because I flashed a new rom.

All little off subject here, but the only thing ive ever found that has helped my battery life was buying an external battery charger. I tried the unplug,plug in..wait till green...blah,blah. All of that stuff...none worked for me. External charger was what did it.
