Help Call log being spyed on

I have my moms old phone and she has a program on her laptop that sends all my incoming and outgoing calls to her email. This is something I do not want.
After doing a lot of research on Google I can't find anything close to a fix for this.
Is there some kind of call privacy app I can get?
How can I fix this problem.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Can I ask when you received the phone did you do a factory reset .

The problem was you mail. After resetting my voicemail to carrier and deactivating the account everything is fine now.
For anyone who may have you mail on their phone from a previous owner I strongly advise removing it asap as it can allow them to spy on every call you miss.

Hello and welcome to the forums. Can I ask when you received the phone did you do a factory reset .

Normally I would have but the phone was sprint flashed to Verizon and I do not know of I would mess it up but factory resetting.

At the risk of possibly stating the obvious, your mother presumably had this set up for herself so she could see calls she had missed so spying is probably not a very well-chosen description.

Having said that, this is very good advice for anyone not factory resetting a second hand phone but also a perfect example of why you should do exactly that when you inherit or buy any second hand phone.
